This month's community highlight takes us a bit more north. Living in Gardiner, Maine, provides a balanced lifestyle with the benefits of small-town living, historical ambiance, and natural attractions, all while being close enough to larger urban areas for those seeking more extensive amenities and employment opportunities.  Hop on 295 North, and come see what Gardiner has to offer!

Cobbossee Stream Conservation Area and Harrison Nature Trail
Visitors to the 14-acre Cobbossee Stream Conservation Area and the 15-acre City of Gardiner Harrison Avenue Nature Trail will enjoy a 0.8-mile round trip hike along a stream-side trail. KLT holds a conservation easement on the Cobbossee Stream Conservation Area, which is owned and managed by the City of Gardiner.

The Blind Pig Tavern
The Blind Pig has a beautiful, large dining area and bar with great food and drinks and fun relaxed atmosphere. Homemade desserts, and creative cocktails with house-made syrups!

Barn Boards & More
They are a small family-owned business, located in central Maine, passionate about saving antique wood used in the construction of Maine barns. Founded in 2008, they've been saving and repurposing wood and architectural items into functional home furnishings.  Check out their website to see some of the amazing pieces they have created!
